Drivers intending to use the road on the Vine on Saturday are advised to seek alternative routes. Temporary closures are in effect due to ongoing construction work on the overpass, which will impact the business area from the outskirts. Authorities have announced specific restrictions for the coming weekends.
On July 10th, the area between K5 (Papageorgiou) and K6 (Meteora) will be completely closed to vehicles from the outskirts between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. No vehicular movement will be permitted through this section during these hours.
These restrictions are scheduled to continue beyond the immediate weekend. For the following weekend, specifically on July 11th, the closure will be limited to the western direction between K6 (Meteora) and K5 (Eukarpia), also operating from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
During the entire duration of the construction work, traffic on the designated road will remain restricted. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays and disruption to local business activity near the outskirts.
