A 35-year-old shopkeeper was robbed in the central district of Skopje after receiving assistance with an ATM withdrawal. According to reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on August 6th around 17:00. The victim, identified as S.S., reported that a stranger offered him help with the withdrawal of money from an ATM.
However, the situation escalated when the individual forcibly took the money and fled the scene. The shopkeeper was left without the funds he had intended to withdraw. Following the robbery, local authorities were notified.
Officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that they are actively investigating the incident. They informed S.S. that measures are being implemented to identify the perpetrators and bring the case to a conclusion.
The police are working to recover the stolen money and ensure the case is fully resolved.
