Three years ago, at the age of 82, Hilda-Hilda Kondovska, a TV news reporter and cultural curator at Macedonian Radio-Television (MTV), passed away. She was one of the leading cultural news reporters in the country. Kondovska was married to one of Macedonia’s most prominent slaters, Dimitar Kondovski, with whom she had three children.
She is the mother of Drami theater’s Mariya Kondovska and of the photographer Filip Kondovski. The National Gallery of Macedonia organized a retrospective of Dimitar Kondovski’s works at the Daud Pasha Museum a year before her death, in a showcase of his collection. She was born as Hilda Karadzha in 1941.
Her father was Teokhar Karadzha from a well-known Štip family, and her mother Manzi had a Slovak father and a Macedonian mother.
