The Ministry of Internal Affairs is launching a more aggressive campaign against organized criminal networks. Within the framework of the EU project IPA-FAST, aimed at combating the trafficking of migrants and smuggling, the Ministry of Interior received a new specialization and vehicle. Border police and the National Unit are receiving a significant boost: 30 patrol cars, six terrain vehicles and a combination, five video cameras, as well as two sophisticated heart rate detectors, hidden in the depths of trucks and vehicles.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Panče Toskovski, warns that the state should not show mercy to those who are responsible for human murders. “The patrol cars and the specialization will be used to detect the vehicles,” the Minister said.
