HE WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE AVIATION, WAS LUXURIOSELY INSURED WITH A SERVICE CARD, EX-Director of the SOCAR was accused

The chief prosecutor of the main prosecution office in Skopje has formally presented an indictment against the injured director of the State Office for Public and Employment Affairs. The charges relate to an ongoing criminal case involving Abuse of Office and authorization under Article 353 of the 4th part of the Criminal Code, alongside charges of Falsification of Service Records under Article 361 of the 1st part of the Criminal Code. The indictment alleges that the chief prosecutor, who served from July 3, 2021, until March 2024, misused the authority vested in his office.

Specifically, the allegations state that he obstructed the service authorities by signing disposal decisions and imposing fines for the disposal of land property—both for personal use and for the benefit of most employees of the SOZR—without adhering to the requisite basic conditions. Furthermore, the indictment details instances where the director allegedly utilized the property belonging to the airline Lirjet 60 for private purposes. Additionally, when settling the accounts of the SOZR, the accused was required to cover associated costs.

These actions form the basis of the charges brought forth in the criminal proceedings. The prosecution contends that these actions constituted an abuse of his directorial office and violated established legal procedures concerning the management of state assets and employee records.
