Man Assaults Delivery Driver in Skopje Following Payment Dispute
Skopje, Macedonia – Police are investigating an incident that occurred late yesterday evening involving a dispute over a delivery payment. M.J. (33), from Kumanovo, reported that he had ordered products and was subsequently assaulted by S.S.
(identity withheld) after the delivery driver stated he was unable to pay for the order. According to the report, S.S. had placed the order but informed M.J.
that he lacked funds to complete the transaction. This led to a physical altercation during which S.S. attacked M.J.
and subsequently kept the ordered products. The incident is currently under investigation by Macedonian authorities. Separate events were also reported throughout the day, including a traffic stop involving 13 vehicles with multiple drivers under the influence, a forceful attempt to seize a document at the Center for Social Work, and a serious traffic accident in Teveto resulting in a pedestrian injury.
Additionally, a woman in Teveto was seriously injured by an explosive device. Police are continuing to producing information regarding these separate incidents. The investigation into the delivery dispute is ongoing, with authorities working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the event and to ensure the safety of individuals made to deliver goods.
