Four Individuals Subjected to Temporary Restrictions Following Allegations of Violence

Gostivar, North Macedonia – On June 21, 2026, at 18:17, authorities reported a series of incidents leading to the temporary restriction of freedom for four individuals within a village. The North Macedonian Police, specifically officers from the SRS Shtip, acted on multiple reports of alleged violence. At approximately 01:20, one individual was deprived of his freedom from the village for a total of five visits related to accusations of sexual violence.

This incident was reported at 01:35. Subsequently, M.S. (51), residing in Gostivar, was also deprived of his freedom from the village for five visits concerning similar allegations.

This followed a previous report regarding a physical attack on his wife. The incident was reported at 01:40. Furthermore, S.M.

(33), also from Gostivar, was similarly deprived of his freedom from the village for five visits, stemming from prior accusations of violence against his wife. This incident was reported at 01:45. All individuals were subject to temporary restrictions, effectively depriving them of freedom from the village, as part of the ongoing investigations.

Authorities are continuing to pursue these cases.
