Tirana, Albania – Four Albanian nationals were detained early this morning following an operation by the Regional Center West of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The individuals were apprehended while engaged in illegal fishing within the waters of Lake Prespa. Police reports indicate the operation occurred around 5:00 AM when officers discovered the individuals actively fishing, despite the prohibition of fishing activities on the lake.
