E-archiving started in the middle school, and students will carry original documents for the next year

Macedonian Students to Submit Paper Documents for 2026/2027 Secondary School Admissions

For the academic year 2026/2027, Macedonian students seeking admission to secondary education will be required to submit original paper documents as part of the application process. The admissions portal, uslugi.gov.mk, will continue to be utilized for initial submissions, leveraging images from schools.mk where students will upload scanned or photographed copies of required documents. These documents include certificates from grades 6 through 9, supplementary certificates, and the mother’s book of births.

Alongside the online application, students will also need to present these original documents at the schools to which they are applying. The Ministry of Education and Science (MON) has determined that full digitalization of the admissions process was not achievable. Previous efforts to streamline the system through an online portal have not been successful.

This decision ensures that students will provide the necessary documentation for their applications. The process will include electronic submission via the portals alongside the requirement for students to provide the original documents at the schools where they are applying. The deadline for submitting these documents remains a key element of the admissions year.
