Construction Begins on Corridor 10 Bridge in Korytso
The construction of the Corridor 10 bridge in Korytso has commenced, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski. Nikoloski made the announcement during the “Security and Competitiveness of Transport” investment discussion held in Thessaloniki. Speaking at the panel discussion, titled “Establishing the Corridor 10: Priorities for infrastructure and investment challenges in the Western Balkans,” Nikoloski highlighted Corridor 10’s significance as the most important economic corridor within Europe.
He stated that the project is anticipated to fundamentally alter regional realities and significantly improve passenger and freight transport. Nikoloski projected that the corridor will connect all associated territories, establishing it as a key economic driver across Europe. His comments followed discussions regarding improved transport links and investment opportunities within the Western Balkans.
The minister’s presence in Thessaloniki involved participation in a broader European transport strategy, including routes originating from the port of Piraeus in Athens and extending to destinations such as Helsinki.
