Archival Documents Exhibition Opens in Sofia
The KIC (Cultural and Information Center) in Sofia will host an exhibition by renowned Macedonian artist Zheneta Vangel on June 16, 2026, commencing at 8:18 a.m. The opening event will be attended by Ms. Vangel herself.
This marks the first solo exhibition of Zheneta Vangel in Sofia, a collaborative project between the KIC in Sofia and the National Gallery of Macedonia. The exhibition, titled “Archivski Dokumenti,” showcases a curated collection of artistic works. The presentation includes objects, digital prints, audio recordings, and photographs, all carefully selected for the display.
A storybook component was also part of the exhibition’s scope. Maja Krstevska, Head of the National Gallery of Macedonia, has provided commentary specifically for the exhibition dedicated to Vangel’s work. The event represents a significant cultural offering within Sofia, and is open to the public.
