Two Individuals Fined for Drug-Related Driving in Skopje

Skopje – Two individuals were apprehended and fined for driving under the influence of drugs by police officers in Skopje on June 19, 2026. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a 22-year-old resident of Skopje, identified as K.T., and a 32-year-old German national were taken into custody following separate incidents. Officers from the Rapid Response Intervention (SRI) Skopje unit conducted stops at various locations throughout the city.

K.T. was detained, and the German national, identified as T.K., was also apprehended. The incidents were fully documented, including all relevant evidence.

The arrests occurred on June 19th at approximately 14:31 and 14:48. Separately, police also responded to a traffic incident involving a motorcyclist from Tetovo who was injured in Skopje. Additionally, a Serbian national was issued a speeding ticket for driving at 188 km/h within an Uber Skopje vehicle at approximately 07:18 on the same day.

This incident highlights ongoing law enforcement efforts within Skopje to ensure road safety and address traffic violations. The German national’s arrest underscores the continued vigilance of authorities regarding impaired driving.
