19-Year-Old Driver Arrested Following Incident Involving Young Girl
Skopje, Macedonia – Macedonian authorities have apprehended a 19-year-old man following a traffic incident in Vizesevo yesterday where a three-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle and subsequently fled the scene. The Ministry of Interior announced today that the driver has been taken into custody. Police officers from the Traffic Accident Investigation Department located the involved vehicle, a “Volkswagen Golf” with Skopje license plates, around midday today.
The vehicle was operated by J.B., a 19-year-old boy from the Dobrino village near Skopje. Following the discovery of the vehicle, a thorough examination and photographic documentation were conducted. A formal interview was also carried out with the driver.
Authorities confirmed the incident occurred yesterday, involving a young boy. A full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event is underway, and a formal report will be filed upon completion of the documentation process. No further details were immediately available.
