Unseen incident at the meeting: KURTI GAAAN SO JAJCA (VIDEO)

The constitutional session of the Assembly in Pristina resumed following repeated demands from the leaders of the Self-Determination Movement. Albin Kurti reiterated his request for extended talks with various party leaders aimed at selecting a new President for the institutions. These demands reportedly caused palpable dissatisfaction among the attending delegates.

During one instance, Kurti was directed from the rostrum to his seat, where he was met by Tímea Cadriey, an Alians delegate, who reportedly stated that the Self-Determination Movement delegates had come to support him. The President of the session, Avni Dehari, subsequently called Kurti back, urging him to proceed with the constitutional session and conclude the proceedings. The pattern of demanding extra time was observed when a candidate for the President of the Assembly was proposed, and again on the fourth day of the session.

Kurti justified his requests by stating, “We do not have a political contract, but in order to avoid new elections.” These ongoing procedural discussions underscore the political tensions surrounding the selection process. The repeated interventions by the leaders of the Self-Determination Movement highlight the ongoing efforts to finalize leadership appointments during the assembly session.
