A 59-year-old resident from Tetovo has filed a report regarding an alleged fraud involving the sale of a commercial vehicle. According to information provided by the Ministry of Interior (MUP), the individual visited the Security Directorate (SRS) in Tetovo to report the incident. The resident stated that in April, he entered into a contract with an individual based in Skopje for the sale of a specific truck.
This vehicle reportedly bore Skopje registration marks and was owned by a legal entity operating within Skopje. The agreed-upon purchase price was set at 11,000 euros, with payment structured to be received in installments. However, the resident reported that by the time of his visit, the agreed payment had not been fully remitted, and the truck had been taken from him.
He alleged that the transaction was conducted without the necessary safeguards to protect his interests. Officials at the SRS in Tetovo confirmed receiving the report and stated that appropriate measures are being implemented to thoroughly investigate the matter. The investigation is focusing on the details of the contract and the subsequent failure to complete the payment for the vehicle.
Authorities are currently working to clarify the circumstances surrounding the alleged misappropriation of the truck and the funds related to the sale that took place involving parties from Skopje.
