Muscunski referenced a significant moment in July 2021 when the Assembly demonstrated full support for a resolution concerning ethnic and historical issues.
He noted that despite this consensus, a subsequent administration allegedly misused the agreement. “Just five years ago, on July 29, 2021, we achieved a political consensus on state positions related to ethnic and historical issues,” Muscunski stated. “The resolution was expressed with consensus, but the previous government in a few months has abused that consensus.
There is no dilemma about whether it is necessary for us to take action.”
The statements underscore a deep division regarding the management of national issues, particularly concerning international treaties and historical narratives.
