335 Students Participate in Annual Flag Lowering Ceremony
On June 5, 2026, at 18:29, 335 students from several primary schools participated in a traditional ceremony marking the end of the academic year. The event, held within the Presidential Cabinet, involved the lowering of the national flag. Students from “Ilinden” (Kriva Palanka), “Ljuben Lap,” “Aco Shopov,” “Lazo Trpovski,” and “Kiro Gligorov” (Skopje) were involved in the ceremony.
The event began with the performance of the Macedonian anthem by the Military Orchestra, accompanied by the participation of student voices. During the ceremony, students gained access to the Presidential Cabinet, observing the institution’s interior and learning about its operations. A notable element of the visit included a meeting with the President, which drew a large crowd and caused her some surprise.
