The VMRO-DPMNE party is set to secure two significant ministerial portfolios as part of the ongoing reconstruction of the government. During a visit to Telma TV, Prime Minister Hristo Misko announced that the advisors responsible for Health, Social Policy, Demography, and Youth will be confirmed under the umbrella of the vmro and dpmne party structure. The official appointments for the new ministers overseeing these two ministries are anticipated to be confirmed following the meeting of the ruling party’s Executive Committee on Friday.
In a significant reshuffle, the ministries responsible for Culture, the Political System, and Justice will be allocated to the coalition partner, VEDI. Furthermore, the ZNAM party has been designated to take over the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management. ZNAM will also receive an additional Deputy Minister role, which is scheduled to be discussed starting in September.
Misko also addressed structural changes within the cabinet, noting that the position of Deputy Chairman of the Government for Good Governance will no longer operate as a standalone portfolio. Instead, its functions will be integrated directly into other governmental roles. These adjustments represent a major realignment of ministerial responsibilities across the ruling coalition partners.
