According to the findings, the nation of Macedonia achieves a substantial surplus in trade and exports, indicating that the country produces significantly more ice cream than its resident population consumes.
Looking at the broader European market, Eurostat forecasts that the European Union will produce 3.44 billion liters of ice cream by the end of 2025. This figure represents a projected growth of 1.9% when compared to the 3.38 billion liters produced in 2024. In terms of regional leadership, Germany remains the largest producer within the EU, generating 608 million liters.
Italy follows closely, securing the second position with 2.5 billion liters. The data suggests a robust and expanding market across the continent.
