Macedonian text: Photo: Tibor Janosi Mozes from Pixabay Climate change makes it necessary to protect water as a strategic resource, which means that it is of crucial importance for economic development, food security, the preservation of animal habitats and the well-being of citizens, the students of the joint 7th session of Working Group 5 – Animal Habitat (Headquarters 27) and 14th session of Working Group 1 – Agriculture and Rural Development (Headquarters 11), which took place within the framework of the National Convention for European Union in Macedonia, stated. The students asked whether Macedonia should continue to align with European legislation in the area of water, to appoint institutional capacities for managing climate risks and to invest in digital solutions.
