Uapsen Turshin entered Macedonia early yesterday morning at the Devebi border crossing. Upon arrival, he was detained by police authorities. Turshin was reportedly traveling with H.J.E.
from Turkey, who was operating a lorry with a semi-trailer. Following the completion of border control procedures, authorities discovered that Turshin had presented fraudulent green cards. Consequently, he was taken to the Police Station in Kriva Palanka for further processing.
The individual was subsequently charged with theft, based on suspicion of the crime of falsification related to the fake green cards. Separately, two other incidents were reported on June 27, 2026. One report noted the death of a man at his residence in Skopje, with no signs of violence present at the scene.
