The Prosecutor’s Office for the persecution of organized crime, in conjunction with the Ministry of the Interior and the Financial Police, has initiated an investigation involving Ilcho Gjorgjievski, the recently wounded president of the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM). The announcement, made on June 18, 2026, at 12:53 a.m., confirmed the involvement of the Prosecutor’s Office. Following the direction of the Prosecution, coordinated searches have been conducted across multiple locations, resulting in several arrests.
As part of these operations, the wounded president of the FFM, Ilcho Gjorgjievski, was taken into custody. Alongside Gjorgjievski, Olgica Mladenovski, who reportedly has outstanding financial obligations during her tenure as president, has also been brought before the authorities. Furthermore, a total of approximately twelve other individuals are currently under investigation.
