Toshkovski and Daciuk from Tabakovce started a joint campaign “Wazy odmooren”

Officials from several national agencies jointly announced the launch of the initial preventive initiative, “Wazy odmotren.” The announcement was made by the MUP Minister for Internal Affairs, Panče Toskofski, alongside representatives from the Republic Council for Welfare, Goran Angelovski, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivić Dacić, and the head of the Serbian Welfare Agency, Branko Stamatovici. The primary objective of the “Wazy” campaign is to enhance driver awareness regarding the dangers associated with vehicle immobilizers. This focus is particularly timely given the seasonal patterns of traffic flow.

Authorities noted that during the summer tourist season, traffic volume on Road 10, which connects the Tabanovce border crossing to the Virgin Mary border crossing, experiences a significant decrease. During his address, Minister Toskofski emphasized that the measures are designed to proactively educate the motoring public. The initiative aims to mitigate risks by ensuring that drivers understand the security implications of modern vehicle technology.

The collaboration between the respective national bodies underscores a unified commitment to public safety across the region. The involvement of the MUP highlights a coordinated effort to deter theft and improve road safety awareness among residents and tourists alike.
