There are five bodies lying on the bridge in Mexico City, and five more are lying among the victims and a wounded city mayor (VIDEO)

The investigation uncovered a series of disturbing incidents involving multiple casualties in the city of Panoko. Among those identified as victims were a wounded mayor, two municipal officials, including a firefighter, and several local individuals who were also killed. The most severe scene was reported on Saturday, July 18th, within the Pozzo de Gasma neighborhood.

Authorities discovered five half-naked bodies hanging from a bridge structure. Additionally, four other bodies were located on the street connecting Saín Alto and Sombrerete. Forensic autopsies conducted on the deceased determined that the five individuals had died due to asphyxiation.

Separately, a police officer was confirmed to have been killed by firearms. The prosecution has presented preliminary findings, suggesting that the toxicological results from the five victims indicate severe drug consumption. However, officials noted that the direct relevance of this drug use to the motive behind the killings remains undetermined.

The deceased were recovered and interred at various times following the discovery. The initial findings suggest a complex sequence of violent events impacting multiple members of the local community. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths and the identities of the perpetrators.
