THE ZZ TOP BEGAN TO SING – THE ONLY ONE WITH NO BEARD

Frank Birt, long-time manager of the iconic American rock band ZZ Top, has passed away at the age of 77. The band confirmed the news, and according to an official statement, the musician died on August 17th at his ranch in Richmond, Texas, while under palliative care and surrounded by family members. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

It was noted that Birt had experienced significant health issues recently, leading to multiple withdrawals from performances. His passing comes after more than half a century following the formation of ZZ Top. Birt was a member of the group for 56 years, and alongside Billy Gibbons and bassist Dusty Hill, he helped create one of the most recognizable ensembles in rock history.

Gibbons, who remains the sole surviving member of the original lineup, continued to sing with the band.
