THE TRANSPORT MINISTRY DOES NOT SANITIZE PATOT KON TEFERIC, THE OPTYSTINA AND GRADO T DO NOT HAVE CAPACITY

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, through Aleksandar Nikoloski, has announced that the ministry will assume responsibility for the abandoned project site located in Tetevër. Officials stated that this intervention is necessary because the existing local administrative bodies, specifically the City of Kiselëvo and the Municipality of Skopje, are deemed to lack the requisite capacity to manage the scale of the challenge. According to the ministry’s statement, the nature of the issue presents a considerable hurdle that requires specialized resources beyond the scope of the current municipal structures.

The complexity of the undertaking means that relying solely on local governance would prove insufficient for remediation. The decision reflects the ministry’s assessment that the problem is considerable in scope and technical difficulty. By taking over the project, the ministry aims to ensure that the necessary infrastructure work proceeds efficiently and thoroughly.

This reassignment of authority is intended to guarantee that the site can be properly sanitized and brought back into use without delay. The ministry emphasized that the challenge is not merely administrative but involves substantial logistical and technical requirements. Therefore, the resources and expertise housed within the ministry are deemed necessary to address what has been identified as a considerable infrastructure deficit.

The handover signals a commitment to resolving the matter at a higher governmental level, confirming that local entities are not equipped to manage the entirety of the required remediation effort.
