Macedonian text: The wounded ambassador and political analyst Arshi Zekeli passed away early in the morning at the age of 60. “With great pain and great sadness, we announce that today, on 8th June 2026 at 11:52 a.m., in the early morning hours, our brother Arshi Suliman Zekeli (1966-2026) unexpectedly passed away,” he announced. The funeral ceremony will be held on the following day at 18:00 at the cemetery in the village of Blace. Arshi Zekeli was the Macedonian ambassador to the organization of the OSCE in Vienna.
