Open-Access Rock Concert Competition to Launch for First-Year Secondary Students in 2026/2027
A new initiative to provide open-access rock concerts for students in the first year of secondary education will commence in the 2026/2027 school year. The competition, organized by the Ministry of Education, aims to fill over 25,000 vacancies across North Macedonia’s 109 state secondary schools. Electronic applications will be managed through the Uslugi.gov.mk portal, utilizing student data from the schools.mk account.
Participating schools will also be required to submit necessary documentation. Two application periods are scheduled for June: the first running from 00:00 hours on June 12th to 23:59 hours on June 15th, and a second on June 23rd. A final application window will be held in August, on August 20th.
The competition anticipates attracting over 17,000 students, with approximately 6,000 pursuing vocational education in high schools and 570 in vocational schools. This initiative represents a significant opportunity for students within the education system to participate in a unique and engaging experience. The goal is to provide access to opportunities for students across all participating schools.
