Macedonian text: Photo: BBC News Africa (X) Somali football court Omar Artaan arrived in his native Mogadishu, where he was barred from entering the SAD. Artaan had to become the first Somali judge to preside over a FIFA World Cup tournament as he made his way onto the final list of FIFA for the tournament. He is one of the leading African judges who was named the best African football judge in 2025.
He was barred from entering the United States airports in May because of a “pre-flight medical examination,” according to the Somali embassy in Kenya.
