The real estate sector features prominent developments characterized by white towers and ornate facades, housing ambitious projects intended for high-net-worth individuals. One such undertaking is Burj Al Babas, conceived as a grand, luxurious estate primarily targeting affluent international buyers, especially those from the Middle East. The initial vision for the development was substantial, originally proposing more than 700 residential units modeled after European architectural styles.

The scope was set for a large-scale, luxurious community. While the current plan details over 587 villas, the project was launched in 2018 with an estimated investment exceeding $200 million. However, the development encountered significant financial difficulties among its investors.

This setback has resulted in a substantial portion of the planned housing remaining unfinished or uninhabited. Consequently, dozens of families have been left without permanent residences within the intended estate. The situation highlights the contrast between the initial scale of the proposed luxury development and its current stalled status.

The project remains a notable example of high-value real estate development impacted by economic headwinds.
