Internal Affairs Minister Panche Todoskishki stated that over the past five months, the number of people killed has decreased by 40 percent. Specifically, the report indicates that the current total of identified deceased individuals stands at 33, a notable decrease compared to the 55 recorded in the previous year.

The report, published on June 27, 2026, also provided data on the system’s usage. Between February 2 and June 22, 2026, more than 120,000 people were registered within the Bezbednost framework. Of these individuals, 95 percent were directed to the traffic police department.

Minister Todoskishki commented on the findings, characterizing the modernization of the system as a success.
