During a press conference addressing the current state of the water supply system in Vrakovo, the Minister for the Environment and Spatial Planning, Muhadjir Hoda, provided details regarding a specific infrastructure development. He confirmed that the construction of a filter station, part of a larger project associated with the Vrutok area, was finalized in 2014. This facility was designated for integration into the municipal water supply network serving Vrakovo.

Minister Hoda emphasized that the completion of this particular project occurred over a decade prior to the announcement. He noted that the timeline for this specific filter station began in 2011 and concluded in 2014. Following its completion, the facility was formally transferred to the management of the Vrakovo Municipal Enterprise “Communal.”

The discussion highlighted the ongoing efforts to secure funding for other necessary improvements to the local water infrastructure.

While the handover of the Vrutok filter station marked a completed milestone, the Minister addressed the continuous need for resources to maintain and upgrade the overall capacity of the vrakovo water system. The confirmation of the 2014 completion date provided a historical marker of progress within the city’s utility framework, confirming the successful execution and handover of the initial phase of the water supply enhancement project.
