Debar Municipality Launches Construction of New Public Parking Lots
Debar Municipality has initiated a significant infrastructure project focused on enhancing the city’s transportation and quality of life. The project involves the construction of public parking lots, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion, potentially reduce local costs, and improve conditions for residents and visitors. The primary component of the initiative, designated as Book 1 – Parking 2 and Parking 3, represents a substantial investment of 16,215,470 dinars.
While the project includes approximately 250 parking spaces, the Debar Municipality is undertaking the full construction. ARCH Construction JSC, based in Tetovo, was contracted to manage the works, while MGI Project JSC – Skopje provided decentralized project supervision, according to the mayor’s report. This development is intended to address ongoing challenges related to lots within the city and contribute to a more organized and accessible environment for all.
The project’s completion is anticipated to positively impact the overall functionality and appeal of Debar.
