Baby Found Abandoned in Skopje Club
Skopje – On June 16, 2026, at approximately 2:11 p.m., the Skopje Police Station received a report regarding an abandoned baby. The initial report, filed by A.S., detailed discovering the infant in the park adjacent to the Shota Orisari playground within a local club. Responding officers secured the scene and contacted medical assistance.
A team from Inta medical assistance transported the week-old baby to the Kompleksot clinic “Mother Teresa” for a preliminary examination. Medical professionals confirmed the baby was in good health with no apparent injuries. Following the assessment, several individuals were brought in for questioning at the Skopje Police Station.
According to police protocols, the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the baby’s abandonment. The baby is currently in the care of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
