The ranking, which considers the top 150 global tourist destinations, placed Toronto, Canada, at the forefront with 50.5% of bookings made by solo travelers.
Santa Ana in El Salvador and Sao Paulo in Brazil followed closely behind. Taipei and Kuala Lumpur rounded out the top five. Skopje secured eighth place globally, solidifying its position as a particularly attractive destination for independent travelers.
