Tragedy in Bosnian Village: Man Kills Wife and Himself
Miricina, near Gracanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina – A devastating incident occurred late Tuesday evening in the village of Miricina, resulting in the deaths of Saffet Kovacevic (68) and his wife, N.K. (68). Authorities confirmed that Kovacevic fatally shot his wife and subsequently took his own life.
According to preliminary reports from investigators, the event unfolded in a field. N.K. managed to escape from the location by climbing over a fence to avoid harm.
However, Kovacevic then shot her in the head. Emergency services responded to the scene around 7:40 p.m. The body of the 68-year-old woman was discovered at the location, and she was transported to the medical facility in Tuzla.
Kovacevic died in the ambulance. Local police confirmed the incident and stated that the body of the deceased was found without signs of life. The circumstances surrounding this tragic event are currently under investigation.
