North Macedonian President Mitkoski to Attend EU-Western Balkans Summit in Montenegro
Christian Mitkoski, President of North Macedonia, will participate in the upcoming Summit of the European Union – Western Balkans, scheduled for Wednesday in Titovo, Montenegro. The summit, organized by the Vlada, will be held at the “Regent Porto Montenegro” resort. The event will focus on addressing current challenges and fostering cooperation related to the European integration of countries within the Western Balkans region.
Leaders participating in the summit will discuss strategies for advancing relationships with the European Union. A joint press conference is planned for 3:30 pm concluding the summit, and will take place at the Naval Heritage Museum in Titovo. The summit’s commencement follows a tour of the Western Balkans undertaken by European Council President Antonio Costa.
Costa previously met with Mitkoski in Skopje on June 2nd. The gathering represents a key opportunity for regional leaders to engage directly with the European Union and advance integration efforts. This European summit underscores continued commitment to strengthening ties between the EU and the Western Balkan nations.
