PADNA ANDROID OF “DVOJNIK” – Narco botots so lazhni makedonski identitet

An organized tax campaign conducted by Albanian police was disrupted when authorities intercepted a ten-member criminal group involved in transporting cocaine. Among the individuals detained was Sokol Beba, a figure associated with the “Dvojnik” affair. This affair previously exposed instances where Macedonian authorities allegedly issued Macedonian passports to known criminals from various regions.

Sokol Beba himself faced issues in Macedonia, having been banned due to possessing a Macedonian passport issued in the context of the “Dvojnik” affair. Specifically, he was found in possession of a Macedonian passport bearing the name “Andon Papi,” but which was used with an altered identity belonging to a real Macedonian citizen. The scope of the passport irregularities was evident during the Albanian tax operation.

During this campaign, an undercover agent, identified as Florian Musa, was found to be using a Macedonian passport registered under the name “Naum Filo.” These documented cases suggest a pattern involving multiple individuals utilizing documentation that appeared to originate from Macedonian authorities. In addition to the arrests stemming from the tax campaign, the operation also involved the collection of outstanding tax payments from the persons detained. The revelations underscore ongoing concerns regarding the potential misuse of national identification documents, particularly those related to Macedonian citizenship, within organized criminal activities.
