Mountain Climbers Conclude Annual Quest on Titos Peak
A diverse group of mountain climbers from Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia participated in the annual quest on Titos Peak. The event, held in winter conditions, involved participants from various mountain clubs and cities, alongside guests from neighboring regions. The climbers followed well-marked paths under the supervision of guides and members of the “Ljuboten” Peak Protection and Rescue Service (PK).
The organization ensured the safety and smooth progression of the group along the trail. Due to the challenging terrain and strong winds characteristic of the Sharr mountain range at high altitudes, the quest was carefully managed with time limits. Despite these conditions, the climbers successfully navigated the route, overcoming obstacles primarily due to the significant snowfall encountered on higher sections.
At the summit, participants received commemorative stickers as a reminder of their accomplishment. The final destination was the “Konak” hotel, reached at 16:30, marking the completion of the mountain expedition. The event highlighted the skill and preparedness of the climbers and the crucial role of the “Ljuboten” PK in ensuring a safe and successful undertaking on Titos Peak.
