OTHER DAY, DIESEL WAS PRODUCED, correction of the price of gasoline

The Regulatory Commission for Energy (RCE) has announced a reduction in various fuel prices, implementing a decrease of 0.27% when compared using a one-to-one basis relative to the figures from June 22, 2026. These adjustments affect several types of fuel consumed across different sectors. Specifically, the selling prices for diesel fuel saw a reduction of 0.50 dinars per litre.

Meanwhile, the cost of petrol decreased by 0.796 dinars per kilogram. For motor fuel, designated as EU-SUPER B, the prices dropped by 0.95 dinars per litre. In the area of heating supplies, the prices for home heating fuel (EL-1) remained unchanged based on the one-to-one comparison.

However, other specialized fuels experienced notable decreases. Eurodiesel fuel (D-E V) saw a price reduction of 0.90 dinars per litre. Furthermore, heating oil (EL-1) prices decreased by 0.796 dinars per kilogram.

Overall, the RCE’s decision adjusts the market rates for key energy resources. While some categories, like home heating fuel, maintained stable prices in this one-to-one comparison, the revisions for diesel, petrol, and various grades of fuel indicate a downward adjustment in overall energy costs across multiple commodities. These updated prices are now in effect following the Commission’s regulatory review.
