Border Guard Seizes Golden Necklace Worth 1.1 Million Dinars
Bogoroditsa border guard officials, in conjunction with royal servants, apprehended two Kosovo Serbian state officials attempting to conceal a significant golden necklace. The seizure, made during a routine inspection, involved a necklace comprised of four gold chains totaling 190.6 grams and valued at 1.1 million dinars. Investigations revealed the necklace originated in Turkey and was subsequently concealed by the officials.
Attempts to hide the item were unsuccessful, and it was recovered along with the individuals. The case has been transferred to the Department for Investigation of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Gevgelija for further examination. This incident marks the eleventh gold seizure this year attributed to the Tsar’s administration.
To date, the Tsar’s administration has successfully recovered approximately two kilograms of gold. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding these seizures.
