Police in the Kilder district of the Republic of Macedonia responded to reports concerning a group of masked young individuals suspected of attempting to rob cars. However, the situation deviated from robbery attempts when the group reportedly crashed into a field and veered off the M9 motorway. The police did not initiate a pursuit of the individuals.
Instead, law enforcement officers established mechanisms designed to immobilize vehicles in the area. Separately, an unrelated incident occurred when a BMW vehicle crashed into a field. Inside the car were three sisters, aged 23, and a 12-year-old son belonging to one of the women.
The occupants were identified as Alma and Niam Kinzel, who were seated in the front compartment. A second child was located in the rear section, alongside another daughter and her nephew. The family unit was traveling to attend a wedding ceremony in a foreign country.
The police investigation is currently focused on both the initial report of suspicious activity involving the cars and the details surrounding the vehicle accident. Authorities maintained a presence in the area while managing the scene following the crash. All parties involved were accounted for after the vehicle came to rest in the field.
