Multiple Arrests Following Marijuana Discoveries Across North Macedonia
Police across North Macedonia conducted a series of operations, resulting in the detention of 12 individuals after marijuana was discovered in several vehicles. The investigations occurred throughout the day in multiple locations. In Gostivar, authorities apprehended 22, 21, and 22 individuals following the discovery of marijuana within a vehicle.
Simultaneously, in Mavrovani, 30 individuals from Skopje and 32 from Skopje were taken into custody after marijuana was found in a Suzuki vehicle. Further operations took place in Skopje, with officers detaining individuals after marijuana was found in vehicles. The substance recovered was described as powdery and coarse.
At Bit Pazar, police initiated an operation that led to the arrest of 26 and 36 individuals from Opština Aerodrom N.K. and 27 individuals from Opština Aerodrom N.K. These arrests follow the discovery of marijuana in each of the reported incidents.
Investigations are ongoing.
