The Assembly continued its legislative work over three days, holding its 105th, 106th, and 108th sessions. During these sessions, deputies introduced several significant legal changes, which were presented in a simplified format for consideration. The proposed legislation covered areas such as the Law on the employment of persons, the Law on the appointment of the Republic of Macedonia’s former prosecutors, and notably, a new law concerning the seizure and disposal of human body parts for medical treatment.

The legislative process commenced on June 29, 2026, at 19:16, during the opening of the 105th session. A key piece of legislation adopted during this period was the Law on the change of the Law on the appointment of the Republic of Macedonia’s former prosecutors, which passed with 59 votes in favor and no dissenting votes. Furthermore, the Assembly addressed the new provisions regarding the seizure and disposal of human body parts.

This new law establishes the legal framework governing the acquisition and use of human biological materials for medical purposes. The passage of these various laws indicates a comprehensive effort by the Assembly to update several areas of Macedonian law. The adoption of these statutes reflects the ongoing legislative agenda aimed at modernizing legal practices across different sectors, including employment and medical ethics.
