Milosovski: Macedonia has been convinced by reforms, a positive assessment from the European Commission

Antonios Miloshokski, a deputy and member of the IC of VMRO-DPMNE, stated that an anticipated announcement from the European Commission regarding the implementation of reforms in Macedonia is expected to positively impact the country’s standing. According to Miloshokski, such an assessment would bolster Macedonia’s importance, particularly concerning the evaluations made by the European Commission for all candidate nations during the month of July. Miloshokski indicated that, based on available information, Macedonia is projected to receive a positive assessment from the European Commission, alongside Albania and Montenegro.

He contrasted this with the situation of other candidate countries, noting that some are reportedly experiencing disputes concerning the proposed Reform Agency, as detailed in the Commission’s plan for the agency’s establishment. The statements were made during a press conference where Miloshokski presented details regarding the political party list. The core of his announcement centered on the belief that the confirmation of reform acceptance by the European Commission would significantly boost Macedonia’s standing within the broader framework of European candidate country evaluations.

He emphasized that this perceived positive momentum would benefit Macedonia’s overall progress toward European integration standards.
