MICROSOFT TO THE POSITION: The state is preparing reforms, which will be implemented according to the will of whoever is invited to the summit!

Christian Mikoski addressed the opposition parties, calling for a period of political maturity to navigate the ongoing crisis surrounding amendments to the Electoral Law. He reiterated that the ruling coalition remains willing to support the opposition’s proposal for a universal vote to ensure the voting rights of the Macedonian diaspora. However, Mikoski also leveled pointed criticism against the recent conduct of several opposition leaders.

He characterized their actions as immature, tactical, and overly focused on minor details at a time when the state required significant focus on implementing necessary party reforms. During his address, Mikoski stated, “We have to deal with unresponsive and immature politicians in the opposition.” He further recounted instances where the ruling coalition presented a unified front, noting that they had clearly communicated their position to the opposition. According to Mikoski, the coalition had stated, “ok, agree, write it down, it will be 10 votes.”

The core message delivered by Mikoski was a plea for the opposition to shift its focus from partisan disputes to achieving broad consensus on key legislative reforms.

By making these statements, Mikoski sought to frame the current deadlock as a result of political immaturity rather than irreconcilable differences over fundamental principles. His remarks aimed to steer the political dialogue toward actionable agreements concerning the nation’s electoral framework.
