MARGITE UNDER THE LEAVES – For unfounded destruction, there will be measures

Deputy Minister Marjan Risteski reiterated the Prime Minister’s statement regarding the review of margins for separated producers. He confirmed that once the relevant margins are fully established and analyzed, the subjects of concern will be discussed. The minister stressed that if any increase in these margins is found to be unfounded, appropriate measures will be taken.

Risteski noted that the process involves analyzing annual reports submitted by the Market Inspectorate in conjunction with the Government. He clarified that the initial analysis has already indicated that margins are currently low. Consequently, if it is determined that producers have increased their margins without adequate justification, the government will implement corrective measures.

These actions could involve reducing the margins either down to a specific established level or through a mandated percentage reduction. The core message conveyed was that any deviation from established, justified levels will prompt an official response from the authorities.
