Dr. Ana Ðajareva of Brza pomosh – Skopje reported an increase in medical calls across the city, noting that over five collapses in public areas have been documented, predominantly involving the elderly. The doctor attributed the high volume of calls to elevated temperatures.

In addition to heat-related complaints, the emergency service in Skopje received reports of various incidents. These included an instance where a woman, approximately 37 years old, was ejected from a vehicle.
Furthermore, the department handled calls for reasons that were not immediately clear, alongside reports of a cyclist who was involved in a vehicular accident. Dr. Ðajareva reiterated crucial public health precautions, specifically advising caution regarding prolonged exposure to the outdoors between the hours of 11:00 and 17:00.
