Lesen Protok on Sobrača – on “Bogorodica” the stay of the Grcic’s horse lasts up to 15 minutes

The Macedonian Motorcycle Association (AMSM) reported that the “Bogorodica” border crossing was closed to vehicular traffic on the morning of publication. Conversely, at other Macedonian border crossings, there were no reported waiting times for vehicles entering or exiting the country. Despite the smooth flow at several points, the AMSM issued a general advisory to riders regarding safety protocols.

The association emphasized the necessity of adhering to passport conditions, strictly observing posted signage, and exercising caution while operating vehicles. This heightened vigilance is particularly recommended near border zones, settlements, river valleys, and canyon areas where border crossings are situated. This advisory covers major weekday crossings, including Katelovo-Veles, Mavrovo-Debar-Sterguta, Vishnica-Berovo, and Kochani-Delchevo.

Further corroboration of the situation came from camera feeds monitored by the Javno priredanje za državne pasove (JDP). These cameras monitoring the border confirmed that significant queues of vehicles were present at the “Bogorodica” location across all monitored sectors. Travelers are advised to check the latest status updates before planning journeys through the region.
