Kreml: There is no agreement for continuation of peace negotiations with Ukraine

Kremlin Denies Agreement Reached for Ukraine Peace Talks

Moscow – The Kremlin has stated there is no agreement for the continuation of peace talks with Ukraine. Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for President Vladimir Putin, affirmed this position to the Russian news agency TASS, reiterating it as the “last word” of the Russian president. Putin previously outlined key points of Russia’s stance regarding the end of the war, as detailed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs two years prior.

Peskov emphasized that “there is no agreement” and that these previously articulated positions remain non-negotiable. The Kremlin expressed gratitude to American envoys Steve Wertkopf and Giora Kushner for their continued efforts to exert pressure on the parties involved in the discussions. The statement comes amid ongoing conflict between the two nations.

There has been no formal agreement reached regarding a ceasefire or further negotiations at this time.
